Pulmonary embolism is the third most common cardiovascular disease after myocardial infarction and stroke. The death rate of pulmonary embolism exceeds that of myocardial infarction, because myocardial infarction is much easier to detect and treat. Please join us in this half-day symposium for an overview of contemporary therapies for venous thromboembolism, emphasizing modern interventional therapies for more-complex cases.
