 Symposium Overview

The annual State of the Science Symposium presents Critical Care Best Practices 2019 delivered by expert leaders. The dedicated, multidisciplinary critical care community applies these standards of care to guide our practice consistent with the mission and vision of both the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses to secure the highest-quality care for all critically ill and injured patients.

Guest Attendance Policy

All symposium activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered symposium attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) ​are not allowed in the symposium areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

  

 In consideration of the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact us to determine your special service requirements.​

 

Cancelation Policy
Changes may occur that are beyond our control. In the unforeseen event the symposium is canceled, Baptist Health will refund attendees the entire amount of their registration fees. If you are traveling from outside of the area, we strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance.

Cancelations must be received by May 24, 2019 to receive a refund of the registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee. Registration fees are not refundable after May 24, 2019.
