2013 Symposium Educational Objectives: 


 Evaluate the impact of current screening guidelines on clinical practice.

 

 Implement current cervical screening guidelines in clinical practice. 

 Evaluate current consensus guidelines for management of dysplasia and how they apply to younger patients.


 Implement current consensus guidelines in the management of dysplasia in patients ages 21 to 30.


 Utilize surgical treatment interventions in patients with endometriosis where appropriate, considering pain management goals and future fertility.

 

 Utilize medication management in patients with endometriosis where appropriate, considering pain management goals and future fertility.

 

 Evaluate the need for hormone therapy in patients who have had surgical interventions.

 

 Identify and assess patients who are candidates for VBAC.


 Evaluate evidence-based research supporting reducing C-section rates and apply clinically significant recommendations to your clinical practice.


 Assess pros and cons of elective C-sections and discuss their impact on patient outcomes.
