Symposium Summary
Obstetricians and gynecologists have a special and important responsibility in their daily practice to diagnose and manage patients with the most common and most complicated obstetric and gynecologic problems. Staying abreast of these medical advances gives them increasing opportunities to provide high-quality patient care.
Symposium History
Established 27 years ago by Sanford H. Cole, M.D., the annual Ob/Gyn Symposium has grown from its modest beginnings as a half-day program held in the Baptist Hospital Auditorium to a full-day symposium. Through Dr. Cole’s vision and efforts, world-class educators have come to our community to discuss the newest concepts in obstetrics and gynecology. Generously supported by Baptist Health South Florida, this annual symposium attracts close to 200 physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
